Residency Requirements
Village Court residents must meet the income guidelines and be 62 years of age or older. Handicapped or disabled persons may be residents regardless of age. Residents meeting these requirements may be eligible for rental subsidies. WELCOME
TO CARLISLE VILLAGE COURT
In 1979 a group of Carlisle citizens banded together to form Carlisle Elderly Housing Association Inc., a non-profit corporation, for the purpose of providing senior housing in Carlisle. The corporation obtained land from the Town of Carlisle and a private party - and with the aid of funds acquired from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development and USDA Rural Development, and other funds, it built Carlisle Village Court.
